fantastic for a flash short, very "anime" esque. erm...

why/how did you export the film as a movie, only to put it back into flash? also, how did you export as a movie and keep the quality so high..?

I laughed at the end because even though you claim its a joke, and not aimed at anyone. Its obviously true, and totally aimed at a few...coughegofuckingraptorcough.

his movies are amazingly funny... but not when everyone else does them! Cause you just take the basic videogame theme, with shitty drawings and crap jokes. But forget egos comic timing, great voice acting, actual good animation..etc. (in new films anyway).

Ahhh welll. You wont go far by just ripping people off anyway. Youll just get a nice score on NG which doesnt mean much because you only got a nice score due to someone else.

Anyway, cool movie. Though i prefered "flash comedy extravaganza" or something..because it was just generally funnier.

AMAZING FILM. loved it. excellent style and storytelling. Its so clean. Its the sort of thing i expect a proffessional studio to create, and its awesome that you did the music yourself too, it syncs nicely.

I like the blank expressions, but in your next movie you should emulate more experssions cause people like that and it adds character :p

WHAT. THE. HELL?

probably the most overrated flash movie ever to grace the internet.

nice idea, and some nice effects in there (the brain ripple especially), but all youve done is animate some poor stickmen, with poor voice acting and some basic loops playing over and over with no spectacular timing, very boring.

The best thing about this movie is the music, seriously the only thing that kept me watching through the whole movie, also a lot of people have been saying that this movie is "deep" and makes them feel a lot of things....that is ALL due to the music, which you didnt make. Sorry if im sounding pretty harsh in this review but my opinions stand and i think thousands and thousands of other movies on NG are a lot better than this..the fact that it isnt too high up on the frontpage (considering its ridiculous score lol) also shows that tom fulp must agree.

The ending...omg the ending..haha, after such dramatic music and build up, just some cheesy text basically shoving the message down the viewers throat, i was actually expecting something clever at the end or something to merit the popularity of this movie.

Movies like Tottyart's peice in Simple Line 8or9? cant remember, and There She Is 2 have synced animation to great music SO much better than this movie, and have so much more visual flair, talent and feeling. and hundreds of movies on NG deliver deep messages and ideologies without boring the viewer to death and then patronising them at the end. aha.

In summary, nice idea, quite nice effects...but really not that great or entertaining. Of course youve had like 8,000 votes and im just one guy so you can disregard this but i hope you respond. haha keep animating i guess. phew longest review ive ever written :]

[Against the Colossus]

Amazing movie

The best stickfigure film ive seen in a while, really well animated, nice atmospheric backgrounds and a descent concept. The scene where the stickfigure crashes through the church roof, and the introduction to the movie, were arguably the best in my eyes, nice lighting in there too.

I think the biggest problem with the movie is you. Dont kid yourself, it is CLEARLY influenced by OSCAR, as well as shadow of the colossus, and to blatantly say it isnt in your description is plain unfair. Your basically using a style which he created, (and many people have ripped off), but youre not saying "inspired by oscars castle series". Why have you given credit to SOTC and not OSCAR? Maybe you think it looks like youve coppied him, but all artists copy other artists, its a fact and its a source of inspiration, and not giving credit is just a faggot thing to do.

Also, the solem and depressing music at the end really doesnt fit with the movie, because it was an action movie where the big guy got shot in the head a lot by the other stickfigure...there was no character behind it, and so using the music- in order to gain sympathy for the big guy- is a bad move. Youd have been better off with some loud hardcore music or something with a kick to go out on.

Anyway, brilliant movie, but you need to give credit to oscar and youd do well to change the end music :]

Hey, thanks for the review, but none of this is inspired by Oscar or his Castle series. I've been animating since 2002 now, and i always used this style. Why would i copy things from oscar? He is not a source of inspiration for me. This movie was inspired by the game: Shadow of the Colossus. =)
Maybe the backgrounds in this movie make it look similiar, but that doesn't mean it's inspired by Oscar's Castle series.

[Box Smash]

Your Best work to date..

Both of you did a fantastic job on this. Vey fluid, cartoon-like animation, with great impact and bounce to it. Some great ideas have been input too, as well as an origional key driving idea. Backgrounds lacked charm, and were a bit sloppy, as well as a few minor animation mistakes, like where the vehicle bobbed up and down, but the stick didnt..crisp sounds, and a well paced entertaining movie.

Funniest Movie on NG

Damn, that was so well put together, it was really funny and was actually really well animated, which is a surprise in these kind of movies. I enjoyed watching this a lot, its pretty different from a lot of stuff, funniest flash movie ive ever seen. I thought Say Something was going to be a one hit wonder, i guess not..haha, hope to see more from you in future.

I love this!

Damn this is amazingly cool. Please do continue it. Its very well animated, nice style, very clean, nice shape and pace and angles. The crisp sounds fit very well and your Naruto influences are very clear but very well done. I think this movie is underrated. Its great, i think the Newgrounds audience dont like it beause it has no plot or background. But the lack of background is kinda part of the clean style, and who needs plot? Its clear this movie is for entertainment and quality animation. GREAT MOVIE!

[Trapped - Tribute]

Great, a little shortlived though..

I really liked that, very simple and had good style. Nice movements, although you almost left out physics and gravity in some places, he looks like he can almost float along the ground. A bit short, but whats there is great, loved the music but i didnt like the ending. Overall, it was a very good movie.
